The East

The season opens with the dynamic Prince Edward Island trio The East Pointers on Friday, Sept. 21.  Mixing stomping rhythms and dazzling musicianship with original songs that paint a vivid picture of the joys and sorrows of real life, their wildly entertaining shows make a connection with audiences around the globe. They made their Irish Fest debut in 2017.

Jimmy Keane

Chicago based virtuoso piano accordionist Jimmy Keane will perform a Musical Retrospective on Friday, Nov. 16. A special guest will be announced at a later date. Jimmy’s unique style incorporates techniques, ornamentation and subtleties used by fiddlers, uilleann pipers and flute players. He has performed with Green Fields of America, Moloney, O’Connell and Keane and Bohola and is well known to Milwaukee audiences.

A Christmas Tradition
Rory Makem

Finishing the season is A Christmas Tradition with Rory Makem on Saturday, Dec. 15. Rory continues the lineage of an Irish music dynasty begun by his grandmother Sarah Makem and his father, the legendary Tommy Makem. He has established himself as one of the leading forces in the Irish song tradition and is well known to Milwaukee audiences both through performances with his father, as the trio Makem and Clancy and more recently as a duo with Dónal Clancy.


The annual Celtic Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale will take place in the ICHC Parlour starting at 6 p.m.
